Lobbying the government to reverse the BC PNP suspension of occupations

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is a key employee retention tool for Whistler employers. The nearly year-long suspension of key occupations in tourism, hospitality and food service occupations caused significant disruption to business operations across the province.

Whistler Immigration Ltd. worked to support the Whistler Chamber of Commerce demonstrating the harmful impact the BC PNP’s suspension was having on local businesses and lobby the government to reverse the suspension.

On February 16th, the BC PNP lifted the suspension, restoring a key tool used by BC employers to fill shortages in key occupations.
