Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has extended the open work permit pilot project for permanent resident applicants in the Spouse and Common-law Partner in Canada Class.
This pilot expedites the open work permit processing time, resulting in eligible applicants receiving an open work permit in as little as four months.
The pilot project has been extended to July 31, 2020.
