International Experience Canada (IEC) and SWAP Working Holidays have partnered to offer a new program to US citizens in 2019.

The Young Professional Program offers US citizens between the ages of 18-35 with an eligible job offer the opportunity to apply for an employer-specific work permit. The permit is valid for up to 12 months.

Candidates must first submit their application form and job offer to one of SWAP’s US partner organizations for eligibility assessment. Eligible candidates will be allowed to participate in the IEC program with the support of SWAP and apply for an employer-specific work permit.

SWAP organizations are currently accepting applications to the new program; spaces are limited and candidates need to act quickly to secure their spot.

No more Working Holiday permits for US citizens are available for 2019.
