The Canadian government will allow 10, 700 International Experience Class working holiday permits for a 70% increase in permits issued over previous years.  This announcement comes late compared to the renewal and application dates from previous years.  However the expanded number will allow eligible Irish in Canada to continue working and will offer more opportunities for interested qualified Irish to come to Canada.  The program attracts many skilled workers and recent University and/or College graduates who are currently unemployed in Ireland which provides a valuable economic benefit to Canada.
